I'm back hee hee hee

Good Evening everyone

I hope you're all sitting down, I would hate you to hurt yourselves, when you fall, hee hee hee...

 I can't believe how long it is since I last done a blog post; I haven't done much paper crafting for a while, I've been sewing, making bags, teddies and other little things....

I've finally come back to paper crafts, I decided to make some ATC's, I made some a few years ago, and really enjoyed them, so now I'm back in my room, lol...

Having Fun

I've had the pleasure of going to a Scrapbooking crop on a Friday Evening, at BearPark in Durham, it's run by a very talented and lovely Lady , Jen Fisher....I was asked by another lovely Lady   Janice Audrey Wright, if I wanted to go, as I had mentioned it on Facebook, but  dont have the transport, so of course I jumped at the chance.... so now, Janice picks me up, and we have a Great fun filled few hours at the crop...  thoroughly enjoy it, it's so relaxed and friendly..... 
The only thing is Jen likes to take pic's ha ha ha , and of course  hate my pic taken, but hey ho, it's fun...
I have to apologize in advance hee hee hee , the pic I have decided to show , is one from Fridays crop, I must get my hair cut ha ha ha  ...... 

The layout is one of Jen's, she gives me loads of inspiration ....

Kirsten has some Fantastic glitters, and her embossing powders are fab, pop over and have a look at the great selection ...

I have to make a little confession, lol...... the card I made was with the help of my crafting friend  Kay Foreman,  I had a phobia against glitters, lol...... but with the help of Kay,  think  have now overcome it hee hee hee, Ive used Kirstens glitters to make  the card, and the embossing powder on the butterfly, whch s one of Kirstens stamps....

I've used an embossing folder  for the backing paper, rubbed distress inks over, just to lift the pattern a little, coloured my image using pro markers, and placed some flowers on the card..

Well, I'm in the middle of making my new sewing blog, but just thought I would share the  latest think Ive made. lol as you do hee hee hee ...
I'm quite happy sitting sewing at the moment, my paper crafting mojo, seems to have gone on it's holls, lol....

I'm quite into making bags at the moment, well !! a woman can never have enough bags, or so they say ha ha .... 

I've wanted to make a satchel type bag for ages now, and have finally got around to making one...

For my wall hanging, Ive coloured some paper, and glued it on to card, then coloured the Daisy Chain in oranges,  I Know you dont get Orange Daisies hee hee hee, but I thought they look good, and it shows you dont have to use them as daisies.... then stamped a verse and put it in the middle. and Hey Presto... My wall hanging ..

Fabric Book

Well !!! Ive been sewing again, and I'm really enjoying it, taking time out from paper crafting, but I shall be back hee hee hee...

One of my friends jaqi, had seen a picture of a Fabric book, and thought about giving  it a go, I must admit, when she showed me the picture, I was stunned, they were gorgeous, so I had to make one ...lol  

I really enjoyed making it, i used Calico, and lace with ribbon, and having found some of my late Mothers old costume jewellery I decided to use some for the book... 
A lot of people will think it's messy with all the threads , but thats the way I wanted it, I'm not a neat person ha ha ha , Just ask my hubby hee hee hee ....

My Toys

Evening everyone, 

I've not blogged for ages, my mojo for paper crafting has gone on it's holls I think lol...

My son was going to send  my baby Granddaughters first size clothes off to someone to make them into a teddy, as a keepsake,  well!!!!!!! I could nt believe my ears, and very nicely told him I would make one for her... 
I would nt mind, but he was always complaining about pins been dropped on the floor, when he was younger, his second home was a local fabric shop hee hee hee, so  you can imagine my surprise when he told me, he was sending a stranger his daughters clothes, so she could make a teddy lol...... 

I enjoyed  sewing again, and have been making small teddies, and have just finished my first rocking horse..
I used  an off cut for the rocking horse, just to see what it was like.....

Ive embossed some card through the cuttlebug, then heat embossed the edges, mounted it onto my card, then added my Young Love image,   Added a few swirls, a little storey book, and my sentiment in the heart..

Happy Day

Hi Everyone....

Oh I have some exciting news, well !!!!! it's exciting  for me lol....

I was asked by the lovely Kirsten Lapping from  Kirsten Lapping Designs  to be part of  her Design Team... I bet you cant guess my answer ha ha ha ....... I would be mad to say no.....

I went to a workshop with my crafty buddy Kay,  which Kirsten was hosting..
Kirsten is so friendly and helpful, her products are amazing and so versatile .... The range of colours in her Glitter are Gorgeous , they can even be used on your skin,Kirsten even does glitter tattoos ... and they can be used as nail art......
Kirsten s embossing powders are my new best friend lol... I love them , they come in Gold, Silver, Slate, Copper and  Clearly magic.. 
The beauty of the embossing powders is that once you have heated them, you can then cut them, put them through your cutting machines, and even use with an embossing folder....

I've had a little play with them today, and love them .. 
I used Kirsten s  Fairy Princess stamp set, and some of the glitter to make an ATC, and to decorate a little book cover.. 
I used Kirstens embossing powder in the Gold to decorate an ATC holder....
